It is timely, with the commencement of Harmony week, that we reflect on our St Mary's School-wide expectations.

To be harmonious, we must consider the thoughts and feelings of those we are in contact with in our everyday interactions. With respect and consideration of the similarities and differences of others, we can celebrate the message of Jesus through the Ten Commandments.

 “ Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 22:37–39)

We have noticed a pattern of inappropriate language coming into our playground and learning spaces. Under no circumstance is this language acceptable within our school. As a staff, we are committed to the safety of all students at St. Mary’s and will not tolerate this behaviour.

Please take the time to chat with your child/ children about using acceptable language at school and the expectations to keep students and staff safe and respected when interacting and learning together.
