Religion News: Thursday, March the 23rd.

Easter Liturgy
We continue to prepare for our Holy Week enactment, which will be presented on the last day of Term One, Thursday 6th of April at 12:00 midday in the St Mary Mackillop Hall. This is an excellent way for our students to learn and reflect on Jesus’ journey from Palm Sunday to Easter Saturday. Everyone is invited to our presentation on April the 6th at 12:00 midday. Please come along and watch our amazing children.

Harmony Day Tuesday the 21st of March
Thank you to everyone who added a splash of orange to our uniform on Tuesday. It is days like these that we can celebrate and reflect on how we are different but are the same. One prep student explained to me that on the outside we make look different but inside we are all the same. Fantastic insight from our young student.
In the Gospel of John, we read “A new command I give you: Love one another, as I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.”

Sacramental News
Sacrament of First Holy Communion will now be celebrated on Sunday the 21st of May at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 11:00am.
Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on Sunday the 23rd July at 11:00 am Mass. Bishop Greg Bennet will celebrate this special Sacrament with us and the Parishioners.
