MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Friends of St Mary’s,
We congratulate Ivy and Lachlan, who received their Sacrament of Reconciliation on Tuesday evening; they are in our prayers as they go along their faith journey. Thank you to Sue and Anthony for organising the night and preparing the students for their sacrament.
We welcomed our 2024 Prep students on Tuesday for a fun-filled transition morning. Thirteen bright and happy students were engaged in a rotation of activities and tasks as they navigated their new classroom and school surroundings. We welcome them back next Tuesday for the second of three transition mornings. Thank you to the staff and students who made it a successful morning.
I am looking forward to tomorrow's Colour Fun Run with trepidation! This annual event is a highlight of our school calendar, and the students are incredibly excited about the obstacle course and its challenges. Thank you to all involved in making this event happen; your consistent support is genuinely appreciated.
Tomorrow, Friday, November 17th, Grades 5-6 are leading our liturgy, “Shine a Light on Domestic Violence.” which supports National White Ribbon Day. This critical campaign further pledges to end violence against women and girls. All are welcome to attend our Liturgy at 2:30 pm. in the junior learning space.
Maria
