SENIOR CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
THINK LIKE A PALAEONTOLOGIST!
As part of our studies in Term 3, Senior students are learning about Australian Dinosaurs and Palaeontologists who study fossils
to understand how they lived 235-66 million years ago.
After watching a short video based in Broome - WA, called “Come Sit In A Dinosaur’s Footstep” the children attempted to
demonstrate the process, which eventually forms a trace fossil. They used seashells, leaves and stones to make the impressions.
