Numeracy

Mathematics is a key learning area at St Mary’s and and aims to develop proficiency in Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability. Through explicit teaching and the use of concrete learning materials, including technology, all students can achieve targeted progress.

At St. Mary's we are committed to giving students strong foundations in Mathematics. Dedicated daily lessons, targeted teaching and the use of ongoing assessment are used to ensure the needs of the students are being met.
