Dear Parents and Friends of St Mary’s,
We look forward to celebrating our students' achievements with the Eisteddfod week fast approaching. It has been wonderful to hear the beautiful voices in our vocal groups and the natural actors in our Grade 5/6 play. Please ensure you access the program in the newsletter outlining the student's item day and time.
Please ensure that students wear the correct winter uniform during the recitations and have warm coats, as we will walk to and from the theatre.
As a school community, we have come together to highlight and deepen our understanding of our school-wide expectation of responsibility. From initial conversations with the students, we have developed a Behaviour Matrix that we refer to each morning, celebrating areas of achievement and areas that require further conversation.
Please read through the Behaviour Matrix and discuss the expectations outlined in the
document with your child.
Maria

Sacrament of Confirmation
We celebrated a beautiful Sacramental Mass last Sunday with Bishop Greg. Congratulations go to Lilly, Shekinah, Bianca, Rubie and Alessandro. It was lovely that your families were there to celebrate this with you. The Church had a beautiful community atmosphere with families, staff and Parishioners all gathered together. It is through such gatherings that we can see the loving presence of Jesus.
Thank you to our Altar Servers, Jikaya, Zahli and Mia who assisted Bishop Greg and Father Antony. Thank you also to our choir, Makaysha, Kasharna, Noah and Sarah. You were small in number but you sang beautifully. Thank you.
Wednesday the 26th was the Feast Day for St. Joachim and St. Anne - Mary Mother of Jesus’ parents. As the grandparents of Jesus, they are considered the Patron Saints of Grandparents.
Heavenly Father,
It is such a blessing, such a joy to have grandchildren. We love them with such passion and know each moment spent with them is of great value. Help us to only add and give into their lives. To follow the leading of their parents, but also to sow unique special seeds of love and acceptance into their hearts.
Holy Spirit lead us as we pray for them. Help us be in tune with their worries and challenges.
Bless our relationship with them, that we might display your love, and lead them into the grace and freedom of your kingdom.
Amen
Kind Regards
Sue Benc
