Dear Parents and Carers,
As we move into Week Six, staff are busily working on student reports. We thank them for their continued dedication and effort in supporting our students' learning. I have attached a letter to all families that highlights the Victorian Curriculum Mathematics 2.0 and the associated reporting process.
A big thank you to the SRC and School Captains for organising a fantastic school disco today. It was a wonderful day of fun and community spirit, and we are proud to support such an important cause, raising funds for Caritas Australia.
A reminder to all students and families: winter uniforms must be worn correctly. Our school uniform is a symbol of pride, and we appreciate your support in ensuring students are dressed neatly and appropriately.
Lastly, we’d like to remind everyone about the correct use of school crossings. Please continue to use designated crossing points to help keep all our students safe.
Thank you for your ongoing support.

Reconciliation Prayer
Holy Father, God of Love,
You are the Creator of all things.
We acknowledge the pain and shame of our history and the sufferings of Our peoples, and we ask your forgiveness.
We thank you for the survival of Indigenous cultures
Our hope is in you because you gave your Son Jesus to reconcile the world to you.
We pray for your strength and grace to forgive, accept and love one another, as you love us and forgive and accept us in the sacrifice of your Son.
Give us the courage to accept the realities of our history so that we may build a better future for our Nation.
Teach us to respect all cultures.
Teach us to care for our land and waters.
Help us to share justly the resources of this land.
Help us to bring about spiritual and social change to improve the quality of life for all groups in our communities, especially the disadvantaged.
Help young people to find true dignity and self-esteem by your Spirit.
May your power and love be the foundations on which we build our families, our communities and our Nation, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
We hope you have a wonderful day.
Our Grade 5/6 camp at Coonawarra Farm Resort was a huge success with beautiful weather and lots of fun activities. We welcomed back a very tired group of students on Wednesday.

SCHOOL DISCO
The SRC Disco was a huge success. Thank you to all the students who organised the disco and the staff who cooked and served sausages. Well done to the SRC for a job well done!

All money raised will go to the Caritas Australia Project Compassion Appeal.
Donations to Project Compassion allow Caritas Australia, the Catholic Agency for International Aid and Development, to work with local communities around the world to alleviate poverty, hunger, oppression and injustice.
MIDDLE CLASSROOM
Also the middle classroom, we have been looking at opinion writing. The students have been having fun giving their opinions on different topics. Here is one of the samples of the work that is being produced.
My Favourite Food by Liam
My favourite food is pasta because it tastes good. It doesn’t have many calories, and it doesn’t make your clothes all dirty and look like a pigsty. To sum up, it is so diverse, and there are so many types.

Mental Health and Wellbeing News
Dear Parents and Carers,
Next week we begin our lessons on Gratitude within The Resilience Project curriculum. Gratitude involves recognising and expressing appreciation for the people, places and things in our lives. Practising gratitude allows us to pay attention to what we have, increasing feelings of happiness and leading to a more positive outlook on life. Here are a few fun ways of incorporating a gratitude mindset at home.
